This is a man’s world

Hey fashion people,
Sorry about no post last week. I really struggled with this one. I don’t really dress men so this post was kind of hard. I decided to go East and West.

I have seen a lot of guys who want to be laid back but come off looking sloppy so I decided to first look is going to the ever popular slumming it.
This look starts off with a pair of sweats with or without a design. Top this look off with a tight tank in the summer and a tight t-shirt in the colder months. Leaving the house in this look add your favorite pair of kicks and shades and head out.

Now for the casual everyday or even a hangout look. Start off with a slightly fitted black tee and black pants. You can go with skinny jeans but it is all about personal taste. Grab some black sneakers and a pair of aviators. A very thin pendant necklace and a watch finishes off this look. Now you are ready to head out with the boys or hanging out with your girl.

This look is for those confident guys who want to look good in the office. The pants for this outfit can be any color of you choice. This outfit, however has a pair of pink trousers and a white button down. Add a neutral jacket and a tie, then finish the look off with a pair of dress shoes. Now go to the office and impress your boss with your fashion sense and your business sense.

Now we are going to head to the East of the big pond. For this part I chose a brand that I have seen a lot. It is called Trugen Boy ( I don’t own the right to the brand or the name).
The first look is a casual look that can even be worn to dinner with parents or out with your girl.
Pair a sweater, striped or otherwise with a pair of slacks. Finish the look off with a pair of slip-ons and a button down.

The next look is a casual Friday look. Start with white pants and a button down. Add a leather jacket and socks with sneakers. Grab a briefcase or tablet case and rock the business world.

This look is for the office, the coat is optional. This look starts off with the “classic” three piece suit. Add a crisp white button down, tie and dress shoes. If it is cold outside the fur lined hooded coat is a cool yet efficient way to keep warm.

Well everyone that’s all for today. If you want to see more looks like these let me know in the comment section.

Stay fierce,

(DISCLAIMER: I do not own Turgen Boy)

Cartoon characters can inspire

Hey out there,
I was looking for some inspiration for you guys and it hit me, why don’t I use cartoon characters as inspiration so I hope you all will comment and tell me what you think about it.

The first character is Patrick Star from Spongebob.
For this outfit, start with a pink button down and some light green shorts. Then get a lavender bow and lavender converse. Finish off the look with a brown leather backpack, flower necklace and star earrings.

Next is four outfits from four different characters all from Spongebob.
The first part is for Spongebob. To get Spongebob’s nerd chic look, you will need brown shorts and a white button down. Add some long socks and black boots. As for accessories, all you need is a red skinny tie, eyeglasses and a yellow beanie cap.
The second look is for Patrick. To get Patrick’s laid back look, grab a salmon colored/pink t-shirt, sneakers and baseball cap. Finish this look off with green shorts and a lavender belt.
The third look is for Mr. Stuffy himself Squidward. To get this look, get a long brown tee just like Squidward’s. Finish this look off with teal or light green skinny jeans, converse and a baseball cap.
The final look is for Mr. Krabs. To get the miser’s look, get a teal or sky blue tank and a white tank. Put this over a pair of lavender shorts and red sneakers. Finish this look off with a black belt.

The final look is Spongebob-esque. This look starts off with a brown school skirt and a yellow t-shirt. Then add black Mary Janes, a red tie and a collar. To add the collar you could either put a button down under the tee or buy one of those collar pieces. Personally I perfect to put a button down under the tee. Finish this look off with school girl socks.

Hope you all enjoy trying these outfits out. Don’t forget to post pictures of you trying out the looks here or looks that you thought were awesome and I will use them in one of the blogs. Next week will be for the guys.

As always, stay fierce

Blogger’s block

Hey fashionistas,

This week I will give you guys f(x)’s looks.
The first look is from Electric Shock.
To create the party look you will need a neon dress with black side panels. Add a black graphic crop tee and some black boots, then hit the club in style.
For those of you who are still in school this look can have stylin’ for school. Start with a simple black and white tribal top, add some cute red skinny jeans. Top this whole look off with some cute white combat style boots and strut the halls like a runway.
Hangin’ out with friends but need a stylin’ outfit. Try an off the shoulder graphic tee and your fav daisy dukes. To keep this outfit from looking too over the top sexy add a pair of black high top sneakers, I find that the basketball type work the best.
For all the cutsie fashionistas out there, this look is best for you. Take a cute floral bustier and a black dip hem skirt. Polish this look of with some cute pink boots.

This is another group of outfits for those still in school but they also work for those who are no longer in school but want a fresher look.
Outfit #1: Start with a cute t-shirt with a Union Jack on it and put a cute cardigan over it. Put on your favorite shirts. Grab your favorite red, white and blue striped socks and some cool white Nikes.
Finish this look off with some old school headphones and strut your stuff.
Outfit #2: This outfit is very simple. Put on a plaid button down, some shirts and a cute pair of boots. With these three staples you are ready to roll.
Outfit #3: This outfit mixes cute with cool. A cute ruffle skirt paired with a striped top and a letterman jacket and finished with socks and low top sneakers, you’ve got an outfit that is super cool and sweet.
Outfit #4: This outfit is mixed with a little prep school chic. Grab a plaid skirt and top it with a hoodie. Finish this look of with polka dot socks and booties. Hit the halls or wherever else you are in style.

That’s all for today.
‘Til next week, stay stylin’,

K-Pop Artist 2

Good Monday Morning Fashionistas,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

This week’s k-pop artist is similar to last week, in that it is a group of girls rather than a single artist. This girls group is Girls Generation. My current favorite song by them is Gee. This song is really upbeat and makes you want to get up and dance along with them. The outfits that the girls wear in this song are just as happy and upbeat as the song itself.

The first outfit is really simple and can be worn everyday and almost anywhere. Start off with your favorite pair of khaki shorts, add a pink or other light-colored long sleeve shirt and some cute socks. Finish this sweet look off with a belt and some ankle boots or Mary Janes and you are ready to go.

The next look is a bit of an occasion type look. If you are heading to the skating rink, you could try this outfit. Grab a plain white, fitted tee and your favorite dark wash jeans. Finish this rink ready outfit with a pair of white skate and you are ready to roll. For those of you who want to wear this everyday, all you have to do is substitute the skates for a pair of white ankle boots or sneakers.

The last look is super sweet and colorful. This could make your day a little brighter. Start this look with a long sleeve gray t-shirt, add your favorite bright colored cotton shorts or shorts overalls. Throw on a long beaded necklace to match or compliment the shorts. Finish this look off with some white ruffle socks and white Mary Janes and you are ready to bright the day.

That’s all for today fashionistas.

Stay fierce,

K-pop artist 1

Hey all you fashionistas,
I’m going to change up the blog a little bit. I’m going to show you all how some of my favorite k-pop artists outfits can be taken to the streets. The first k-pop group is 2NE1. I love these girls and all their music. These are some of the outfits from their video Clap your hands.

As you will notice the girls’ outfits are very street but girl never fear you can make it look more natural.
To recreate this outfit all you need is black sweats & black top and a camo hoodie. Complete this awesome street look with some cool black high top like Nike or Adidas. Then girls, hit the streets and strut your stuff.

This next outfit has a bit of a martial arts feel to it and it is not exactly street ready but here’s how you can make more suited for everyday.
Start out with a plain white tank and some white skinny jeans in your favorite style. Add some white high tops like the black ones. Finish off this outfit with some red suspenders or red vest. Now your are rockin’ it like 2NE1.

This last look is a little more tribal. To create this look get out your favorite camo tee and some all black “flying squirrel” pants. Finish out the look with some black combat boots or just plain black boots.

If you want to fully complete these looks with the girls makeup here are the tutorials.
